UTTAR PRADESH STATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (UPSEE) as the name defines is a state level entrance exam conducted in Uttar Pradesh by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) commonly known by other name as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). UPSEE exam provides admission in various college which are affiliated to AKTU.

UPSEE provides admission in various programs like Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Management, Design, Computer applications. From cracking UPSEE students can take admission through lateral entry in various courses like B.Tech, MCA, B.Pharma etc. From 2021 onwards it is decided that the admission in B.Tech program will be based on the scores of JEE main. In this article we have provided information about the UPSEE 2021 entrance examination.


The expected release date of the application forms of UPSEE is in the 4th week of January 2021 and remains available through the last week of March. Students can check the details of application form of UPSEE 2021 mentioned below:

Students will be able to fill the application form through online mode only.

The process of filling application form will start from the 4th week of January 2021

The last to apply for UPSEE (AKTU/UPTU) will be in the third/last week of march 2021

The procedure for application form of UPSEE (AKTU/UPTU) will include these steps:

  • REGISTRATION: it is the first step in which students have to register them by provided some personal information only. Registration provides a registration number or application number to the candidates.
  • IMAGE UPLOADING: After completion of registration the candidate is asked to upload the scanned passport sized image of the candidate which should be in an instructed format.
  • SIGNATURE UPLOADING: After uploading of image the candidate is asked to upload the scanned signature of them. The signature should also be in the instructed format.
  • PHONE NUMBER/E MAIL: The candidate is asked for a valid phone number and e mail id. Both are should be in use.
  • FEE PAYMENT: After filling the all related details of the candidate the candidates is asked to pay the application fee. The candidate can pay the application fee by online mode only.
  • PRINTING THE APPLICATION FORM: The candidate has to print the application form after completing the all details of the application form.
  • There is no need to submit the confirmation page of the application form to the university.

Note: UPSEE 2021 has been scrapped for admission in The admission B.Tech courses will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores.

UPSEE 2021 (AKTU/UPTU) has been scrapped for admission in B.Tech course from 2021 onwards. The admission various B.Tech courses will done on the basis of the scored marks in JEE Main.

Students are requested to check the eligibility criteria before applying for UPSEE 2021 (AKTU/UPTU). Here we have provided the details of the eligibility criteria in two formats in which one is the general eligibility and the other is qualification eligibility. Check the details below

General Eligibility:

Nationality – Indian /RI/PIO/FOREIGN NATIONAL/Children of Indian gulf countries and Kashmir migrants can apply

Age limit – no age limit

Appearing – students appearing in 12th class exams are eligible to give exams for UG courses. Students in the final year of UG course are also eligible to give entrance exam for various PG courses.

Qualification Eligibility according to courses:

B.Tech/B.Des/M.Tech/MCA – 12th passed with physics and mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology with 45% marks in each subject for General candidates and 40 % marks for SC/ST candidates.

B.Arch – 12th passed with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in each subject.

B.Pharm – 12th passed with physics and chemistry along with mathematics or biology consuming at least 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

BHMCT/BFA/BFAD/ MBA (INTEGRATED) – 12TH passed with any subject consuming 45% marks for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates.

MBA – Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST.

MCA – Bachelor’s degree with 50 % marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST

Each entrance exam has its unique pattern of exam same as that UPSEE has its unique pattern described below:

PHYSICS: 10+ 2 level for paper 1st and paper 2nd

Electromagnetic induction, laws of motion, wave, oscillatory motion, ray optics, measurement, thermodynamics, current electricity, gravitation, work energy and power etc.

CHEMISTRY: 10+2 level for paper1st and paper 2nd

Atomic structure, redox reaction, acid base concepts, equilibrium, colloids, periodic table, thermo chemistry, organic chemistry, isomerism, IUPAC, polymers, carbohydrates etc.

MATHEMATICS: 10+2 level for paper 1st

Coordinate geometry, vectors, probability, statics, calculus, trigonometry, algebra, dynamics

BIOLOGY: 10+2 level for paper 2nd

Applied biology, organic evolution, animal physiology, origin of life, mechanism of organic evolution, human genetics and eugenics, ecosystem, ecology, fruits, genetics of plants, plant cell, protoplasm, soil etc.


If any mistake is done by the candidate on apply for the application form of UPSEE 2021. The university offers a correction window to the candidates for correcting the details of application form and can change the exam center city.

The correction form will be available from last week of March to the 1st week of April 2021. The students are advised to correct all the details before the last date of correction. No other chance will be given to candidates for correction mistakes done in application form.

  • Fill your registration number
  • Correct all the mistakes done in application form and change the exam center city according to your choice
  • Recheck the form again
  • Confirm your corrected form and print the confirmation page

Admit card for UPSEE 2021 (AKTU/UPTU) will be available in the 3rd week of April 2021. The candidates can download the admit card from the official website of UPSEE. If any mistake is there in admit card of UPSEE the students can take help from helpdesk of UPSEE. The admit cards will be available only through online mode.

  • Go to the official website of UPSEE 2021
  • Click on the admit card tab
  • Enter your registration number/name and date of birth
  • Your admit card will be seen on your computer screen
  • Download and print the admit card for the day of examination


The candidates will be able to check the answer key in the first week May 2021.The answer key will be available through online mode. The answer key will be available according to the sets of question papers. The candidates can check their answer keys according to their question paper set on the official website of UPSEE.

Candidates have a right to raise object against answer key. If there is any objection the candidate can submit their objection till the 1st week of May 2021.


UPSEE 2021 result will be available on the official website in the last week of M ay 2021. The authority will prepare a merit list after the result according to the scored marks by the candidate.

The students are provided an authority that they can check answer sheets by paying Rs. 5000/ -paper. The time period is given about seven days for this after the announcement of result


 The candidates have to secure highest marks to get highest cut off to be eligible to get admission in various courses. The cut off is different for different categories. For general the cut off is 20% and for SC/ST/PWD the cut off is 20%.

A merit list is prepared according to the cut off. Students qualifying in merit list are called for counseling session.


After the release of merit list the students are called for counseling. A counseling letter is made for the candidates. The counseling for UPSEE is completed in various rounds. The first counseling will be held in the last week of June 2021.

The counseling will be done only through online mode. Students have come for counseling according to merit list and register themselves by paying the counseling fee.

The students must go through the syllabus before starting for the preparation of UPSEE exam. Here we have given some preparation tips:

  • Student must know the complete exam pattern and syllabus
  • Make a proper timetable for your preparation according to the subjects
  • Buy the books related to your syllabus and subjects. Take help from internet.
  • Take mock test every week according to the topics from each subject
  • Complete all your preparation from 1 month before of exam
  • Take coaching’s if you can afford
  • Compete with your friends and colleagues


The students are advised to follow these instructions on the exam day

  • Reach at the exam center before 1 hour of exam
  • Check your room number according to your roll number
  • Enter in the exam center before ½ hour of exam so that you can easily found your room number and seat.
  • Don’t bring any electronic and metallic thing in the examination hall
