    • Units and Measurement – Units for measurement, measurements – errors in measurement – significant figures, dimensions – dimensional analysis – applications, system of units-S.I., fundamental and derived units,.

  5. English: In English, there shall be Comprehension type questions in the form of short passages or a dialogue or lines of poems. Applicants need to read the given text and answer the set of Questions. Each question has 4 choices, out of which applicant need to choose the best answer.
  6. Aptitude: The syllabus for aptitude is given below:
    • Number System: Properties of numbers, Unit digit, Divisibility rules, Euclid’s algorithm, GCD and LCM
    • Percentage: Percentage change-increase or decrease
    • Quadratic Equation: Nature of roots, Solutions of quadratic equations, Relationship between roots and coefficients
    • Profit and Loss: Computing percentage of profit or loss and profit/loss value
    • Geometry: Similar triangles, Circles and Quadrilaterals, Lines and angles,
    • Arrangement: Ordering, Grading and Ranking, coding and decoding
    • Direction Sense test: Finding direction, distance or both
    • Linear Equation: Solving simultaneous equations, problems on ages, Test of consistency
