KMAT exam 2020 is a state level examination conducted by KPPGCA through which students can enrol in Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Science and Post-Graduation Diploma in Management. The students can fill the application form by visiting official website. Every year the exam is conducted offline but, this year it was conducted through online mode. The registration for PBT mode are still underway for those who want to apply. Those who could not attend IBT exam mode can apply for PBT exam mode.

What is KMAT ?

KMAT stands for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test, which is an annual exam conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). Students who wish to pursue MBA, MCA or Post-Graduation Diploma in Management can apply for this exam. The students can enrol in more than 170 MBA and 55 MCA colleges in Karnataka state through this exam. This year the exam was conducted through online-mode. The exam is 2 hours long and the question paper contains 120 questions.

KMAT Eligibility Criteria

KMAT applications was only open for only those students who are permanent residents of Karnataka state. But, in 2018 the authorities remove the domicile condition from the required eligibility criteria. From year 2018 the students of other states were also allowed to appear in the exam. The students still need to satisfy other eligibility conditions like qualification, age, cut off etc. Below we have given you the list of eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled.

Academic Eligibility

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in any related area e.g. Arts, Commerce, Social Sciences, Management, Engineering / Technology from any approved university.
  • During the final selection the authorities will consider student’s KMAT marks, previous academic record and other different subjects.

Qualifying Marks

  • The applicant must have secured minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in their final year of bachelor’s degree.
  • The applicants belonging to the ST/SC community must secure minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in their final year of bachelor’s degree.

Age Limit

  • The applicant must be over the age of 21 years old while applying for this exam.
  • The authority has not decided any upper limit.

KMAT Application Procedure

KMAT 2020 Registration

The registration process for the exam started on 10th June 2020. The students need to visit the official website of KPPGCA to register themselves. To register you need to click on register tab and then enter your name, mobile number and email ID in the given space. Once, you have finish the registration process you can proceed to application process.

KMAT Application Form

To fill the application, form the applicant must go back to the homepage of the official website and click on KMAT application form tab. The students have to fill their personal details, academic details, nationality, domicile details, and reservation category in the form. On the next, page they need to upload scanned copy of their signature and passport size photograph. Lastly, you need to pay the application fee through Debit/Credit card, net banking, Wallet etc.

KMAT Admit Card

The admit card for KMAT exam 2020 has been released on the official website of the exam. The applicants who have successfully registered themselves will be able to download it online. The applicants need to click on the given for the admit card. The login page will open, there enter your user ID and password. The admit card will open on your screen, download it from there and take a print out. Once you download the KMAT Admit Card you need to attach a passport size photograph of yourself.

KMAT Result 2020

The KMAT Result 2020 were declared by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) through their official website. The results were released the results on 12 Nov 2020. The results will contain marks for each section and overall marks of the candidate. Students can also visit the KMAT office and pick-up their results. The students will be selected on the basis of overall cut-off. The students who have qualified the exam must carry the scorecard with them for selection process.

KMAT Exam Pattern

The KMAT exam is conducted through online mode as per the pattern decided by KPPGCA. The paper contains 3 different sections namely; Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. The question paper is two hours long and contains 120 questions.
